Opening night!

Excitement was in the air as the much-awaited opening night of Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema finally arrived! The night’s movie was the Singapore premiere of the highly acclaimed movie PRISCILLA, directed by the renowned Sofia Coppola. Starring Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi, this movie shed light on the human side of the legendary couple, Elvis and Priscilla, and was fascinating to watch.

Cailee Spaeny says, “It’s refreshing to see the human side of them.” She further adds, “Elvis and Priscilla are like American royalty… and we often don’t take the time to think about who they were as people and who they were behind closed doors. And I think this story is fascinating, especially telling it through Priscilla’s lens.”

Information about Hendricks Sunset Cinema 

• Remember to reach the venue by 5:30 pm to enjoy some delicious cocktails before the movie starts at 7:45 pm. 
• One of the highlights of attending Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema is the pre-movie atmosphere. The beach is filled with positive energy and excitement as the sun sets. 
• Please ensure that you have your tickets ready for the event. You can show the QR code on your smartphone or present a printed copy of your ticket for scanning at the entrance. 
• When you arrive at the event, present the QR code on your phone or a printed copy to gain entry. Each ticket includes a complimentary Hendrick’s Gin cocktail as a special bonus.
• The seating is general admission, which means that when you arrive, grab a RESERVED sticker from the Reserved desk and reserve a deckchair for the film. You can only reserve your chair and cannot reserve seats for friends who have yet to arrive.
• When you arrive, you will be given a pair of wireless headphones to use for the film. To protect the headphones, you must keep them in a plastic bag and turn them off until 7:40 p.m. In the event of rain, they must be placed back in the plastic bag and follow the instructions on the film screen. To leave the event, return the headphones to the staff at the exit and do not leave them on the chairs.
• Aside from the complimentary welcome cocktail, the venue has a bar selling spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Please note that bringing alcohol is not allowed. If you’re feeling hungry, the event kitchen by Tanjong Beach Club is open from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and offers a fresh menu of dinner and snacks.
• Payment options for the event include Visa, Mastercard, and Amex, but remember that the wireless signal at Sentosa can sometimes be unreliable. For a quick and dependable transaction, cash is the way to go.
• After the film, you can hop on one of our complimentary shuttle buses that depart continuously from the large roundabout outside FOC Sentosa (just a 3-minute walk from Tanjong Beach) between 9:30 pm and 10:45 pm. These buses will drop you off at Harbourfront MRT (Vivo City).

Wet weather information

As an outdoor event, Hendrick’s Sunset Cinema is subject to the prevailing weather conditions.
