1 Where do you live now, and how long have you been there?
We have lived in Singapore for 3 years now. Melbourne for 7. Abu Dhabi for 2 and Darwin before that for 17 years
What do you love about where you live now?
The response of orderly, sensible caring people and the Singapore Govt Â
How is it different from your home country?
Singapore is much more proactive. They do not have the petty party politics that frustrates me and stifles the Australian economyÂ
What frustrates you about your host country?

How has the Pandemic affected you?
Yes, but it’s been managed so well here that I find myself feeling blessed to be here in Singapore.Â
Where are you now, and where is the rest of your family?
I am in Singapore my children are in Melbourne.Â
Are you in self-isolation, lockdown, or are you social distancing? What rules do you need to follow?
Social distancing. I follow the Sg government’s advice. When in a country, you do as they ask you to do, or you leave. I am happy with their response.Â
What do you find the hardest about your situation right now?
Seeing my friends more. ANZA social functions, ANZA Walking Group, ANZA Yoga GroupÂ
Isolation tips
Do you have any tips for anyone in lockdown or self-isolation?
I ride my bike and avoid public transport.
I do Stand Up Paddling. Nothing is more isolated than a single SUP and a pushbike.Â
What are you doing differently now compared to a few months ago?
Not meeting in large groups
Doing more by myself
