What type of accommodation can you find in Robertson Quay?

In Robertson Quay, you can find different types of homes to live in, such as apartments, condominiums, and HDB flats. 

Apartments are usually smaller and less expensive than condos and may have fewer amenities. Condominiums are larger and more luxurious and have many amenities, such as swimming pools and gyms. HDB flats are government-subsidized public housing and are usually more affordable than apartments and condos.

Best Indian Restaurant

Dabbawalla –Dabbawalla is a popular Indian restaurant at Robertson Quay. It offers a variety of delicious Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the contemporary design complements the restaurant’s modern take on traditional Indian cuisine. The restaurant’s standout dishes include the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Rogan Josh, both flavourful and aromatic. If you are worried about the spice level, don’t worry; they have a rating system of your choice. Remember, choosing ten might not be suitable for anyone who does not want a fire for dinner!

Best family restaurant

Super Loco: It is a vibrant and modern Mexican restaurant with a unique dining experience perfect for families, friends, and couples. The restaurant’s menu features a variety of delicious Mexican dishes, including tacos, quesadillas, and enchiladas, all made with fresh and authentic ingredients. Decker Barbeque: This popular restaurant has a unique menu and a laid-back atmosphere. The restaurant features diverse dishes, including grilled meats, seafood, and vegetarian options, all cooked to perfection. This American-style barbeque restaurant is the perfect place to get your meat fix. The restaurant’s standout dishes include the Grilled Octopus and the Wagyu Beef Cheeks. There are custom pre-orders like the dinosaur beef ribs and the turkey breast, but they need to be ordered four days in advance (take away and eat in)

Long Beach seafood 

Long Beach Seafood: Long Beach Seafood has been serving delicious seafood since 1946. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including fresh crabs, prawns, and fish, all cooked to perfection with the restaurant’s secret sauces and recipes. However, the standout dish at Long Beach Seafood is the Black Pepper Crab, a spicy and flavourful dish perfect for those who love seafood and bold flavours. The crab is cooked in a rich black pepper sauce that perfectly complements the sweetness of the crab meat. It is a must-try for anyone visiting the restaurant.

Common Man Coffee Roaster

Things to do in River Valley

Explore Fort Canning 

Fort Canning is a historic hilltop park in Singapore’s central region. It is known for its lush greenery, stunning views, and rich History. There are many things to do and see in Fort Canning, including exploring the park’s various historical sites and landmarks, such as the many historical parts of the park, including the Battlebox and other areas like the Spice Garden. You can also stroll through the park’s many trails and gardens or relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Fort Canning is popular for outdoor fitness activities like jogging, yoga, and boot camp-style workouts.

Walk to Alexandra via the canal.

Walking the length of the Singapore River to Alexandra is a beautiful walk that offers a glimpse into the city’s rich history and modern development. Starting at the mouth of the river and walking upstream, you will pass through many iconic landmarks, including Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, and Robertson Quay. You can also witness the river’s transformation from a bustling port to a serene and picturesque waterway. Walking, you can enjoy stunning city skyline views, lush greenery, and tranquil waters. The walk is also an excellent opportunity to explore the neighbourhoods along the river, try local cuisine, and discover hidden gems.

A river cruise is one of the best ways to experience Singapore’s beauty and charm; the boat tour offers a unique perspective of the city skyline. You can marvel at the towering skyscrapers, historic shophouses, and iconic landmarks such as the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands. As you cruise along the river, you can also learn about the rich history of Singapore, from its humble beginnings as a fishing village to its rise as a global financial hub. Old Police Station

After a significant renovation in 1999, the former Hill Street Police Station reopened at the Ministry of Information and the Arts. 2004, it became the Ministry of Information and the Arts (MITA). This building is easy to spot with its 927 rainbow-coloured windows.
